@さんのはち 新富町 東京
日本の古い道具を所蔵している「さんのはち」。暮らしの中のしつらえに人形（ヒトガタ）のオブジェを置くことで空間にストーリーが生まれる楽しさを表現しいと思いました。
年末の展示だったので、来年への希望の思いも込めてカレンダーも制作

"San no Hachi" has a collection of old Japanese tools. I wanted to express the joy of creating a story in a space by placing a doll (hitogata) object in a living arrangement.
Since the exhibition was held at the end of the year, I also created a calendar with hopes for next year.

高知のギャラリー「giggy giggy」は、フランスのアンティーク家具や雑貨がホワイトキューブの中に静かに存在しています。
それらが、コルク材の小さな人形（ヒトガタ）の舞台装置になるように制作、設置しました。

At Kochi's gallery "giggy giggy", French antique furniture and miscellaneous goods exist quietly in a white cube.
I created and installed them so that they would be stage settings for small cork puppets (hitogata).

recollectとは「再び集める」という意味。
シャンパンやワインのコルクで作られたオブジェが、酒屋であり、飲み屋でもある奥田商店へ、形を変えて再び戻ってきます。
作家も生まれ故郷である福岡に戻って開催したの初めての個展。

“Recollect” suggests both gathering again and recalling something from the past.
Objects made from champagne and wine corks returned, transformed, to Okuda Shoten—a liquor shop and bar.
It was Matsubara’s first solo exhibition in Fukuoka, the city where she was born.

A solo exhibition exploring philosophical reflections through works combining Matsubara’s sculptures with existing objects, giving physical form to ideas in the manner of models.
For the exhibition, Matsubara also renovated the interior of Gallery Ishi, located in Ginza’s historic Okuno Building.

この展覧会をきっかけに、普段は意識されることのない湖そのものの形を、鋳型から抜き出したように立体化する「湖の彫刻」の制作を始めました。

A solo exhibition exploring the idea that what we see before us is not all that exists. All works were created entirely from discarded materials.
This exhibition marked the beginning of Matsubara’s “Lake Sculptures,” which give physical form to the normally unnoticed volume of a lake, as if it had been cast from a mold.

石神照美（陶芸）、大友克洋（漫画）、坂崎千春（イラストレーター・絵本作家）、高橋和枝（イラストレーター）、中島たい子（作家）、マツバラリエ（美術家）が参加。マツバラリエ自身が企画しました。

A group exhibition bringing together six artists from different fields, using letterpress printing as a shared medium.
Participants included Terumi Ishigami (ceramics), Katsuhiro Otomo (manga), Chiharu Sakazaki (illustration and picture books), Kazue Takahashi (illustration), Taiko Nakajima (literature), and Rie Matsubara (visual art). The exhibition was conceived and organized by Rie Matsubara.
